Yae Ofuji (older sister)

Ofuji's elder sister, Yae, was not only his production assistant and a producer, but also looked after Ofuji in every aspect of his life, and thus meant a lot to him. Even after his death, she worked hard to establish the "Noburo Ofuji Award" and to donate his belongings to NFC. She later passed away on June 18, 1974, due to encephalomalacia, which was also the cause of death of her younger brother. This photo was taken on November 25, 1971, at the party on the first day of the special screening "Retrospective program of Animated Films" held by NFC.
