Film and comic critic, Visiting Professor at Tokyo Polytechnic University Faculty of Arts, and Chairman of the Japan Society for Studies in Cartoons and Comics. His books include Animation Writers around the World (Jimbun Shoin, 2016) and Pioneers of Long Comics (Iwanami Shoten, 2017).

Curator at National Film Center, the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo. After working as the editor of the monthly journal Image Forum, a freelance writer, and a translator, Tochigi started collecting, preserving, restoring, and offering access to, films at the National Film Center in 2003. He has held his current position since April this year.

Art critic. Fukuzumi has created many works, including Contemporary Fringe Art (BankART 1929, 2008), Collection of Japanese Arts (Vol. 19): Expanding Post-war Art (Shogakkan, 2015) (co-author), Traveling with Enku (Bijutsu Shuppan-sha, 2015), and Animal Language (Hatori Press, 2016).

Furukawa Taku(Illustrator, Animation artist)

Born in Mie in 1941. After working at TCJ and the Kuri Experimental Animation Workshop, Furukawa became active as a freelance illustrator and animation writer. He was awarded the Special Judge's Award at the 1975 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the Bungei Shunju Animation Award in 1976, and a Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2004.

Animator. JAM, MODERN No. 2, WONDER, and DREAMLAND (all short films) are counted among his masterpieces. His films have been officially screened at the Venice International Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival, and were awarded the Music Award and the CANAL+ Award at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Mizue is actively working on the stages of international film festivals.

Yamamura Koji(Animation artist)

Born in 1964. Yamamura's animated film Mt. Head(2002); was awarded six Grand Prix awards in major animation film festivals and was nominated for the 75th Academy Award in the short animated film category. Koji Yamamura is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and Professor at Tokyo University of the Arts.

Ryo_timo participated in creating the animated film BECK (2004) as a lead animator. He served as a character designer and general animation director for Birdy the Mighty: Decode (2008); worked as the director and character designer for Yozakura Quartet: Hoshi no Umi (2010), Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta (2013), and Yozakura Quartet: Tsuki ni Naku (2013); directed a 3D animation movie Demi-Human (2016) and a 2D-3D compound animation movie KADO: The Right Answer. He is wandering somewhere around the animation industry.
